A biotechnology company based in Durham, North Carolina that is actively engaged in exploring treatment approaches for pulmonary disorders using inhaled gas therapy chose HumanCentric to plan and conduct a human factors evaluation for their gas therapy delivery system.
HumanCentric's team conducted usability tests with both Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists in a simulated ICU environment. We evaluated user error and acceptance, as well as any risks to patient safety, and reported those results to the client to help them improve the delivery system's design. HumanCentric's strength in usability testing provided an all-in-one solution for the client's needs.
