The Challenge: Gain consumer insight into styling for bathroom hardware.

- Determine consumers' current needs and habits through focus groups and in-home ethnographic research in three cities
- Record customer’s initial responses to the new concepts of bathroom hardware developed by HumanCentric
- Determine the valuable selling features of future products
The Result: The HumanCentric team produced several designs focused on the concepts of personalization, adjustability, and customizability as a new trend in bathroom hardware. The results of the user research provided Levolor with crucial insights regarding the bathroom hardware market and answers into how to successfully penetrate and secure market share. This research enabled Amerock to remain in a leadership position by predicting the future needs of their consumers.
