Tim Swezy, AIGA

Graphic Designer, North Carolina

Bio

Tim has come to HumanCentric all the way from Chicago. He started as a contractor working on the iDEN portion of our Motorola account and now divides his time as a Graphic Designer between iDEN and other projects. Tim's skill sets range from hand drawn type and illustration, to photo manipulation and pixel art, graphics, and icons and everything in between. He finds inspiration in the convergences of disparate parts and inherent amazing quality of interstitial spaces.

Tim's background is in illustration, having a BFA in Illustration from The American Academy of Art in Chicago. He has also studied Computer Art at The School of Visual Arts in New York, as well as Graphic Design and Printmaking at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and has taken as many humanities classes as time and sanity would allow along the way. His diverse educational background and varied life experience (he's lived in 19 different places across the United States) are brought to bear on every project. Tim is a firm believer that doing something by hand is just as good if not better than digital, so he's just as likely to be found painting watercolors as he is to flipping pixels. Ask him a question, about anything, and he just might have an answer for you. He maintains an active membership in AIGA, the professional association for design.
