Bio

Sheila Crosby is the Director of Design at HumanCentric. She has been researching and designing products and interfaces for fifteen years. Sheila's experience ranges from consumer electronics to mobile devices to e-commerce websites. She approaches all projects as the voice of the customer, striking a balance between design excellence and ease of use. Sheila has worked on a variety of different product platforms from exploratory research to design validation. Her experience ranges from industrial design and graphic design to user interface design and research. Sheila has led multi-disciplinary, international teams in the strategy, planning and execution of global design solutions. She has been awarded numerous international design patents, product and graphic design awards and her work has been featured in exhibitions and design publications.

Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, with a focus on Visual Communication Design from The Ohio State University and a Master of Art in Cultural Anthropology from Ball State University.
