Jessica Phipps
Bio
Jessica Phipps is an Associate User Experience Specialist at HumanCentric. She has extensive experience designing interfaces for mobile devices by transforming user needs, user expectations, and software requirements into effective and usable system interfaces. She has experience evaluating existing and prototype systems based on current user-centered design guidelines, conducting ethnographic research, administering structured interviews in formal and informal settings, and collecting, coding, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
Jessica graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Anthropology with a minor in Psychology from North Carolina State University. She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Carolina Chapter where she has previously held a Treasurer position. She is also a member of the Usability Professionals' Association and the Triangle Usability Professionals' Association.
