Jonathan Howarth, Ph.D.

Human Factors Specialist

My skill set includes experimental design, study moderation, data analysis, interaction design, and software development. I have experience with a wide array of usability methods, both analytical and heuristic, and I have conducted many formative and summative usability studies. In addition, I have experience with a number of programming languages, such as C#, for creating prototypes for evaluation.

Since joining HumanCentric, I have worked on a variety of projects including mobile phone interaction design, server software and hardware evaluations, kitchen appliance interface design, and usability lab software and hardware solutions.

Things that I'd eventually like to be able to do:

  • Speak three or more languages fluently
  • Play any sort of instrument more complicated than the triangle
  • Fix up an old motorcycle and tour North America
