Matthew Stevens

Manager of Interaction and Graphic Design

I have twelve years of experience in the fields of interaction design and development. I came to HumanCentric from frog design in Austin, TX. At frog design, I worked with clients like Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Maxtor and Network Solutions. Prior to frog design, I worked in Washington, DC where I created websites and software applications for clients like McGraw-Hill and Georgetown University Hospital. Since joining HumanCentric, I've worked with clients such as Kodak, Dell, Geomagic, Qualcomm, Buzzwire and The FAA.

Sometimes I can't help but look at an interface and think of all of the things I would do differently. The ice and water machine at Whole Foods, for example, could use some work. Then, sometimes I'll see something that gets me so excited I can't even think of how it could be better. Like this or this. I take comfort in the fact that there is never just one answer to an interaction problem. We all know different things. We learn from each other and we bring our collective experiences together in order to solve problems.
