Amy currently works in HumanCentric as an Administrative Specialist. She is responsible for providing staff support, purchasing, and functioning as personal assistant to CEO Barry Beith.
Amy has worked in Human Factors for 16 years and has been with HumanCentric since 1995. She has experience in areas such as workplace ergonomics, warning labels/signs, telecommunications, medical devices, and consumer electronics. Before entering the HF field, Amy worked for more than 20 years as a hospital medical laboratory technician.
Amy has a BA in History from the University of Virginia and a BA in Psychology from North Carolina State University, where she also took graduate coursework in Ergonomics. She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
