HumanCentric is a product design services company headquartered in Cary, NC. We provide design solutions with a focus on your products, your users and your goals. You know how good your product is. We know how good it could be.

Our Team

Our diverse team of researchers and designers is what makes our company unique. We have a cross-disciplinary staff of 20 professionals trained in human factors, product design, graphic design, interaction design and design research.

We work in many different industries, from mobile devices to medical devices, from start-ups to the brands you use everyday. Our research-inspired design approach applies to any industry and any product. Just a few of the industries that we work in include: Medical, Mobile, Government, Consumer Products, Transportation and Web & Software.

Our Process

With every client we create a customized approach to meet your design needs. We also assign you a customized multidisciplinary project team. Our team of researchers and designers works together to discover the physical, mental, and emotional connections between products and the people who use them. These discoveries are then translated into great design.

Our History

HumanCentric was established in 2000 by Dr. Barry Beith with the belief that integrating human factors and design is essential to creating products that improve lives. Our 17,000 sq. ft. of office space in Cary NC includes two state-of-the-art usability laboratories and a prototyping workshop.
