HumanCentric's India-Based Partner Receives Program Design Award
HumanCentric extends congratulations to its India-based partner Kern Communications Pvt. Ltd. for receiving the 2008 Brandon Hall Excellence Award for innovative learning strategies.
Kern's award-winning design was for the Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. training program focused on grooming and personality development for customer service executives. The objective of the program was to heighten executive professionalism and improve the customer experience. In previous training, 90 percent of learning was lost within a month. With Kern's Learner Centered Methodology (LCM), 80 percent of the trainees retained 90 percent of the learning at the end of one month's time. In addition, the LCM allows Godrej & Boyce to train more people, in more regions, at one-tenth the cost of previous programs.
“Usability solutions are the cornerstone of the HumanCentric/Kern partnership," says Barry Beith, CEO and Chief Technical Officer of HumanCentric. “We congratulate Kern on being recognized for excellence and are discussing ways to adjust their LCM for the western market."
The annual Brandon Hall Excellence Award recognizes the best in innovative learning programs and is given by Brandon Hall Research, providers of independent research reports and expert advice on using technology in learning.
"This is a proud moment for Kern. As a four-year-old company, it is a tremendous achievement to have won this award," says Geeta Bose, CEO of Kern Communications.
